AMD plans to unveil its 65nm K10 tri-core CPUs in Q1 2008. We suspect this will take place et the latest at Cebit as samples are already finished. The tri-core K10 is called Toliman and it will fit into the AM2+ socket and use 2MB L3 cache.
Obviously, it will have a much more attractive price than its quad-core cousins. This tri-core chip should show its face ahead of the dual core version which is still scheduled for Q2 2008.
