Printer-friendly version

Dell and some other big guys are already eating all the Tolliman triple cores that they can get their hands on. It is cheaper than the quad core K10 and it scores better than the Athlon X2 in benchmarks. The price performance ratio makes for a perfect equilibrium for the big computer manufacturers.
Some of the triple core Tolliman CPUs that are shipping today are going to be the B2 revision with AMD introducing the B3 version in the near future.
TLB doesn’t affect systems until you clock the CPU higher than 2.4GHz and the first OEM systems will certainly work at slower speeds than that.
The official launch is expected later this month just to meet the Q1 2008 promise.
