Creative finally released a PCI-Express based X-Fi Xtreme sound card.
The new PCI-Express X-Fi comes with a nice blue PCB, which lat east looks better then the plain green one. The new card features the X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio technologies, which should enhance audio playback and deliver virtual surround sound effects.
Besides the regular mic in/line in, front, side, center rear speaker outputs, the new PCIe based card also features an optical digital output and input.
